What is the ECO4 scheme?
ECO4 (Energy Company Obligation) is a government scheme designed to help make homes more energy efficient whilst combating carbon emissions and tackling fuel poverty. The scheme was developed to place responsibility on energy companies to support low-income households, particularly properties with low energy (EPC) ratings. Though there are some criteria that applicants must meet to be accepted, eligible homeowners could enjoy a free boiler upgrade or funding towards other energy efficiency measures, included the installation of cavity wall and loft insulation.

What’s covered under ECO4 funding?

Replace your conventional gas or oil boiler with a low carbon alternative, such as air source heat pumps, designed to lower carbon emissions and make your heating system more energy efficient.

Available for your loft, walls and floors, this simple yet highly effective improvement could see a huge difference in your energy bills, working to retain heat for longer therefore lowering your usage.
Who qualifies for funding?
Those with an EPC (Energy Performance Certificate) rating of E or below and in receipt of:
